Big Days

Yesterday and today were big days for Baikal. Yesterday, we watched Paul for the last time. Beth is starting an internship and Paul is off to school to learn neat things. I am sure Paul and Baikal will still see each other on occasion though. It has been so neat to get to know Paul and Beth, because you go through a lot in those first few months and it is great to know someone who is going through it also. Thanks guys!

Weighing in at a mighty 17+ lbs. Watch out for this guy in the upcoming NFL draft.

Today was take your daughter to work day. Baikal made an appearance at Matt's office and consulted with him on a few trades. Her advice: buy Pampers and short Babies R Us.

Going to Russia

My great aunt Ruth loves to travel. She is heading out to Russia this summer and plans to bring back Baikal a Russian trinket or two.

Weekend in Winston

We all had such a good time in Winson-Salem over the weekend. I did not get nearly enough pictures. Here are just a few.

It is bathtime. Baikal doesn't take regular baths yet, just sponge baths. Grandmother gave her one in the sink. She liked most of it, but wasn't too happy when her hair got wet.

Easter time! This is a neat photoshop trick I learned while glancing at a digital photo book at Barnes & Noble while I was waiting for Matt. You copy the picture into a new window and change it to grayscale. Then you copy the new picture and paste it back over the original, so that you have two layers, one black and white and one color. Erase the items that you want to appear color. Voila!

Matt bought me this dress as a gift awhile ago, and now I am back into most of my pre-pregnancy clothes. Hooray!

Watch for Bunnies

Easter is just around the corner. Watch out for bunnies who are hiding eggs.

New Tricks

Baikal has some new tricks up her sleeve. She has learned how to roll over from her back to her front. The downside is that when I put her on her back to sleep, she eventually ends up on her stomach. She has also started to hold her feet in her hands.

Charleston Trip

This past weekend Baikal and I went down to Charleston to visit with family. We had such a great time. It was the same weekend as the annual Charleston Bridge Run. Most of the family participated, but Baikal and I just spent time visiting with her Great Grandparents.

This is Willa. She is Baikal's second cousin. Baikal loved to watch Willa play.

Great Grandad dressed up in his Sunday best. Nothing goes better with a suit than a baby.

Great Grandmother with sleeping baby. You can tell she has done this before!
