Visiting Greenville part two

There was a special train exhibit at the local community center. The kids really enjoyed seeing the model trains go around and around.

Visiting Grandmother Bookie in Greenville part one

After our visit to Winson-Salem, we drove down to Greenville to stay with Grandmother Bookie. While there, we checked out the zoo. It was a a fun trip and there was a great playground right next to the zoo entrance! What fun!

Visiting W-S part two

We went strawberry picking with the kids. Mom and I enjoyed it more than they did. Maybe next year...

Visiting Nana and Papa in Winston-Salem part one

Camp Crestridge for girls

A few weeks ago, we all went up to Camp Crestridge for the annual work week. Camp Crestridge is a girls camp that my aunt and cousin have gone to in years past. My grandparents have donated a cabin in all of the great grandchildren's names. Every year they have a work weekend to get the camp ready for the hundreds of campers that will be staying there. Matt was a great help. Baikal and Rybolt enjoyed playing in the mountains with their cousins: Willa, Abbott, and Eva.

Zoo time

Now that summer is here, we have been going to the zoo more frequently. Baikal likes to get a map and plot out our course upon arrival. Rybolt enjoys watching the animals. It is a good time.

Blogs and broken collarbones

Baikal has broken her collarbone! She was trying to get out of the car by herself and slipped. Once she calmed down, she told me that her heart was broken and was touching her left collarbone. The doctor confirmed it. She is to take it easy for three weeks while it heals. A toddler take it easy? We'll see about that...

Also, Rybolt has kind of broken our computer. It still works, but has been back and forth to the repair shop. I think we will have to send it off to HP for a fix, which means that the blog will be on temporary shut down. I'll try to upload the rest of my May pics before sending it out tomorrow.

Fish Eggs: A series

I made eggs for breakfast. We were all eating when Baikal said, "Look mommy, it's a fish!" And it WAS! I had made a fish out of scrambled eggs. We just stared at it for a while, until Baikal decided that the fish needed a home in her tummy.

Trip to Cleveland part 3

We had a wonderful time visiting Grandmother Miller's house. Baikal and Rybolt especially liked hanging out with older cousin Maddy.
