Trip to the High Museum part one

In February, we took a trip over to the High Museum of Art. Baikal had colored a picture and wanted to give it to the museum, "in case they ran out of art." We went to the kids room first. After building with blocks, we grabbed an art scavanger hunt backpack and headed out to the art. We had a good time going through the museum and even found a painting that looked like Baikal's. We left without destrying any of the priceless works (a successful trip!). As we were leaving, Baikal handed her art over to the security guard working the door.

Happy New Year 2012!

Look it is baby new year bringing in 2012! Time to party!

Christmas in Winston-Salem

We had a wonderful Christmas in Winston-Salem. With so many little ones, there was not a dull moment (or a quiet one). I did manage to take a few pictures, but less than I had hoped. Oh well, there is always next year!

Cousins y'all!

We had a great time visiting with family over the Thanksgiving weekend. Garvin and Robbie had a good time meeting each other.

Garvin's Baptism

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend with the Millers. One of the highlights was Garvin's baptism. We are so happy that Aunt Susann and Uncle Shawn were willing to make the trip and the commitment! Cousin Robbie was there as well and was a true gentleman to let Garvin take the spotlight for a bit.

Parkside Student of the Month

Baikal was selected to receive the honor of student of the month for November. We are so proud of her! She received recognition from the principal, a math manipulatives box, a book, and a piece of cake! She also had her bio placed on the front bulletin board. WAY TO GO!!!
