High speed chase ends in hit and run

My car was involved in a hit and run the other night. Apparently a stolen car was being chased by an officer. The chase made its way to our street and then the thief baled out of the car before it stopped. You know what stopped his car? Mine. At 1:30 AM. My car is almost 10 years old, so my first thought was...sweeet, new car! But when the sun came out the next day, there was just a small dent in the bumper. I guess it must have been a slow-high speed car chase. The criminal is still at large.
