Mason Mill park and playground
On a recent sunny day in October, we invited some friends to go with us to one of our favorite Atlanta places: Mason Mill park. There is a new playground and a paved bike trail now, but there are also many of the old landmarks too. A fun time was had by all.

Kanuga
In October, the Millers attended our church retreat in Kanuga, NC. We had a great time until Erin tore her calf muscle in a heated game of kickball. We had to cut the vacation short and let her calf heal. Good news is that she was back to normal after a few days of rest and recovery. Notice in the pictures that Baikal is hardly anywhere to be seen. This is due to the fact that she we hardly saw her all weekend. She would show up for meals and bedtime. Gotta love that Kanuga! Wish we didn't have to wait so long to go again!

Trip to the High Museum part one
In February, we took a trip over to the High Museum of Art. Baikal had colored a picture and wanted to give it to the museum, "in case they ran out of art." We went to the kids room first. After building with blocks, we grabbed an art scavanger hunt backpack and headed out to the art. We had a good time going through the museum and even found a painting that looked like Baikal's. We left without destrying any of the priceless works (a successful trip!). As we were leaving, Baikal handed her art over to the security guard working the door.
